you're not the boss of me

three weeks ago i quit my job.

it was a good choice. well, in actuality it was a GREAT choice.

and the universe rewarded me with these!!

purple shoes at a thrift store for $4. four dollars! they are lovingly called the i quit my job shoes. i wore them every day of my last week of work. they are powerful, they make me happy, and they remind me of making good choices.

so now i am working on being my own boss. i am doing things that bring me joy, gardening, playing with fabric and yarn and magazines, baking and biking. i am dreaming of doing things i love, for myself and being able to support myself this way.

so here's to saying no to things that are detrimental to me and a big fat YES to things that are good for me.

also, here's to magical purple shoes!
